Wisconsin State Patrol to host open house events in Sparta, DeForest
Families, community members and anyone interested in a career in law enforcement are invited to annual open house events at the Wisconsin State Patrol Safety and Weight Enforcement Facility (SWEF) in Sparta and the DeForest Post.

Attendees can meet the troopers, inspectors, and dispatchers who serve the Southwest Region and get an up-close look at specialty equipment and vehicles, including the facility where State Patrol officers conduct inspections on commercial motor vehicles.
Public safety partners with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association, and the Wisconsin Towing Association will also be available to provide safety information.
