Caramel Pecan Brownies

  • ⅔ cups vanilla caramels (about 12)
  • 2 Tbls milk
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup butter or margarine, melted
  • ¾ teas vanilla
  • ¾ cup sifted flour
  • ½ teas baking powder
  • ¾ teas salt
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans

Cook and stir caramels and milk over low heat until melted.  Beat eggs, add sugar gradually.  Add butter, caramel mix, vanilla.  Add dry ingredients, pecans.

Bake in a 9x9x2 pan. 350°, 20-25 minutes.
