If you work on the east side–or take the interstate to Madison for work–make new plans for Tuesday. From the WI DOT:
Backups expected Tuesday morning on I-39/90/94 southbound (eastbound) near WIS 60 interchange, Columbia County
Drivers urged to plan ahead and use alternate routes to avoid delays.
Two lanes will be closed from 5 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (Aug. 17) on I-39/90/94 southbound (eastbound) near the WIS 60 interchange for Lodi and Arlington in Columbia County. Significant backups and delays are expected as only one lane will be open through this area. Motorists are urged to plan ahead and allow extra time or use alternate routes.
All I-39/90/94 interchange ramps at WIS 60 (Exit 119) will remain open.
Crews will complete pavement repairs to the southbound Interstate near the WIS 60 interchange. Drivers should be alert for crews and equipment near the travel lanes. The lane closures and work operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
