In thinking about what we wanted to post for the month of June, we began a little research on positivity poems and inspirational quotes to think about as we float into summer. We think we found the perfect poem to share as we continue to “try” and go back to normalcy. We, at Divine Rehab and Nursing offer the following poem partially extracted from author Robert Longley:
“Regardless of the danger, or threat to life or limb, there’s nothing that can stop us from simply diving in. Part of it is duty, a commitment just to serve and treating life as special. It’s what each of us deserves. We hope for the best outcome, but sometimes we come up short. Where trying doesn’t get it done, and we take the path of last resort, we always do the best we can, but sometimes people die. Know that no matter what the cost, WE WILL ALWAYS TRY.”
If this does not sum up what we healthcare professionals have been dealing with for over a year, or is this does not describe the dedication our staff has daily to serve our residents, families and community, we do not know what does. Please thank a caregiver today, for all their hard work and compassion-We at Divine thank them daily.

Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing is Lodi’s nursing home, care facility, and senior living community.
