Every year, the Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs–i.e., police) in Columbia County do a “Shop with a Cop” day. As with everything, this year was a little bit different.
Usually, LEOs from around Columbia County accompany children as they go shopping for Christmas gifts for their families. As with so many things this year, that just wasn’t possible. So… officers from across the county took the shopping lists they were given by kids and went shopping for them.
Then they brought all the presents back and wrapped them.
The wrapped presents will be delivered to the families by members of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department.
