Save to Give is an energy challenge that rewards residents for changing a few habits at home to reduce their energy bills by supporting local organizations they care about. If enough Lodi residents sign up and save energy, Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy will donate up to $25,000 to Reach Out Lodi, Lodi Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), and Prairie Valley Resale Store. Lodi was the first of two communities to be selected in the state to participate.
Beginning in early 2021, the Save to Give will be available online through Lodi Utilities’ MyAccount platform. During two 8-week donation campaigns – one beginning this winter and another next summer – residents can:
- Choose a local nonprofit they’d like to support
- View easy ways to save energy in their home and lower their bills
- Earn donation points for their favorite nonprofit for every action they take to save energy at home
As Lodi residents sign up and earn points by saving energy, Reach Out Lodi, Lodi Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), and Prairie Valley Resale Store.
