Officer Okey Sworn In

This article has been edited to correct the employment status of Officer Lowe.

Last night at a special session of the City of Lodi Common Council, new officer Jeff Okey was officially sworn in as a member of the Lodi Police Department.  Okey’s family was on-hand to see the ceremony.

Temporary officer Joseph Lowe was unable to make the ceremony, as he was helping WI State Patrol with a motorist who needed assistance.  Lowe comes from the State Patrol, and is with Lodi Police in a part time role.  The department is currently looking for another full-time officer to replace the vacancy left by Bobbi Brown.  Officer Brown resigned her position in Lodi to take a position as a dispatcher with Dane County 911 Services.
