On Sunday evening, the Dollar General was robbed.
At 7:13 pm, someone entered the Dollar General, reached over the counter, and grabbed cash from the open cash register drawer. The suspect then fled to the north on foot.
Because of the mask and clothing a detailed description of the suspect is difficult. They are described as:
A light-skinned person (gender unknown), approximately 20-30 yrs old and 6′ tall with a thin build, wearing a black jacket with a hood pulled up, dark pants with the cuffs rolled, dark colored shoes, dark gator type mask wrapped around face, wearing dark colored gloves.
Lodi police were assisted in the initial search by Columbia County Sheriff’s Department.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information can call the Lodi Police during normal business hours at 592-5401 (option 2). The image for this article was taken by the Dollar General security camera.
