On Saturday, the Lodi Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance held a walking stick giveaway for young hikers.
The sticks were collected along the Ice Age Trail and de-barked by the local scout troupe. Volunteers Patti Herman, Charlotte Wilson, and Terry and Richard Haag helped the young people choose a stick that fit, then took them inside to collect a bag filled with beads, stickers, and other items to help them get started decorating and personalizing them.
