The much-needed addition to the Reach Out Lodi building has been completed and is now open. The additional space allows ROL to provide a more comfortable experience, and an expansion of services.
The 1500 ft2 addition, first reported on back in November, provides a much larger–and more appealing–space for the Community Store which serves dozens of area families in need. The construction–overseen by Jim Krinke and built through the generosity of local vendors and tradesmen–came in more than $40,000 under the projected budget.
In addition to expanding the floor space of the store, the addition includes two prep areas for the volunteer staff, a laundry facility, ample storage space, and a basement.
