The key to finding corona virus infections is laboratory testing. This map shows what percentage of a state’s population has been tested for corona virus regardless of outcome. As you can see, Louisiana and New York are at the forefront of the pack having tested 1.49% and 1.65% of their total 2019 estimated populations. The states that have tested the least, Texas and Virginia, are at .29%. Wisconsin has tested half of one percent of its population.
