I’m running for Mayor of the City of Lodi because I believe I can help us toward a future that we must collectively define. Lodi is a very special community, but I think we are the only ones who know about it! I hope to help us articulate who we are and what makes this community so special, and then work to spread the word. I also want the city to be more proactive in communicating to residents, reaching out to potential businesses (especially for our downtown area), and working collaboratively with the Lodi School District and surrounding towns and villages.
It would be an honor to be elected Mayor of a city I’ve lived in and loved my entire life, and that has given my family and me so much joy and peace. I welcome questions at 608-695-8332 (cell – feel free to text).
Stay safe and take care of each other.
I’m a lifelong resident of Lodi, having grown up on our family farm just northwest of town. I earned my BS, MS, and PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and spent my career there working in alumni relations and student academic affairs in the College of Letters & Science.
I was appointed to the Utility Commission (around 2011), and ran for the Common Council in 2015. I’m currently serving on the Finance and HR, Public Safety, and Public Works and Utilities committees, am also President of the Board of Directors for the Lodi Public Library, Treasurer for the Lodi Area EMS Commission, and a member of the Executive Committee for the Lodi Optimists.
