Two items for the City of Lodi parks department. 1) The city Parks Commission is holding an informational meeting regarding their Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. 2) The city pool is looking for an Aquatic Manager
Comprehensive Plan
At their regular monthly meeting–Tuesday, March 3rd, at 6:00 pm–the Parks Commission will be presenting the draft proposal for their Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP). Similar to the city’s Comprehensive Plan, the CORP set out guidelines for how the commission will go forward. These guidelines lay a foundation that will inform their decisions on priorities, spending, expansion, and overall development of parks and greenspace throughout the city.
The plan provides a park and recreation program to enhance the community’s economy and quality of life, as well as preserves and protects the City’s open spaces, water, historical, cultural, natural, and economic resources.
A copy of the draft plan is available on the City’s website.
