The WI Department of Transportation (WI DOT) sent out notice letters last week informing residents of upcoming survey work for 2027 construction on Hwy 60 through the center of Lodi.
As part of the expansive maintenance and repair project, the WI DOT will be resurfacing Hwy 60 from Riddle Road to Clark Street in 2027. Clark Street to Arlington has already been completed, Riddle Road to the Prairie du Sac bridge is happening this year, rebuilding the intersection of Hwy 60 and the interstate will start in 2022, and reconstruction from Arlington to Columbus will take place in 2024.
While this final section through downtown Lodi won’t commence until 2027, initial survey work will begin soon. This will require DOT workers to access private property along the route. They will be surveying property lines, marking underground utilities, and taking photos of property and buildings.
The WI DOT will contact property owners in advance to let them know when workers will be accessing their property.
Project manager Chris Hazard assures property owners
Every effort will be made to cause you as little inconvenience as possible, to perform the work in a timely manner, and to answer any questions about the work being done. In all cases, the work site areas will be restored to their previous condition.
If you have any questions about the project or what it will entail for your property, you can contact Hazard at the DOT:
