The Lodi Valley Chronicle is now on Social Media (a little bit).
For those who pay attention to the home page, you may have noticed that there are now a few social media icons in the upper right.
We Are On
Twitter: The Chronicle now has a twitter feed. 99.44% of what’s posted will be links to articles as they’re published.
Email: This is a quick link to the “news tips” e-mail address. A good number of our stories have come from tips, and we encourage you to send more our way.
PayPal: The Chronicle has a PayPal account to accept donations. 100% of the money received through these donations will be used to pay writers and photographers who contribute to the Chronicle.
Would you like to see LHS and LMS sports and other activities reported in the Chronicle? Your donations will go directly to LHS students who recap and report on the Blue Devils.
RSS: This stands for Real Simple Syndication. Think of it as “home delivery”. If you have an RSS reader (most web browsers include this feature), you’ll be notified whenever a new article is posted.
WeChat: Just because.
We Are Not On
Facebook: Facebook does not promote professional journalism and factual news1Editor’s Note: Also, it won’t let me create an account because I don’t have a “real name”. If someone would like to like to create a page for the Chronicle, contact us.
Instagram: We don’t have the resources to maintain an active and interesting account. If someone would like to like to create an account for the Chronicle, contact us.
