This year’s Thanksgiving dinner at Reach Out Lodi was again a success.
A crew of 38 volunteers helped to set up, serve, assist, clean, and deliver the dinners prepared and donated by 23 members of the community. Even more area residents offered to help out, but all the needed positions were filled.
Those volunteers helped over 50 families take home a turkey dinner with all the fixings to enjoy in their own homes. More than 150 other individuals sat down at the Reach Out Lodi community center to enjoy a meal together.
Each year, Reach Out Lodi serves a free Thanksgiving dinner to any and all community members who wish to join in.
