On Tuesday evening, Reach Out Lodi will be hosting a meeting to promote the formation of a community watch program in the city of Lodi. The meeting will run from 7:00pm to approximately 8:00pm.
Endorsed by the Lodi Police Department–and new Chief of Police, Wayne Smith–the meeting seeks to address the current rash of auto thefts and home burglaries in the area. A community watch program can relay accurate information, coordinate efforts to assist local law enforcement, and reduce the spread of rumors.
